NETPRO is proud to be back in 2023 with Anna Leigh Waters officially licensed rookie cards. This exciting series will feature several card designs, all with limited production runs.

There is something for everyone in this NETPRO Online Exclusive offering. Standard rookie cards are limited to only 999 serial numbered examples, which include our ‘2003 Retro’ design and latest 2023 design. Match-worn apparel cards will be limited to no more than 100 numbered cards, and on-card autographed cards will be serial numbered either 50, 150, or 250 depending on the card design you choose.

Each design will carry forward with the next athlete who will be announced in the near future. We are taking a page from the precious metals industry as this is the same format with how many rare coins are released today. We feel that by keeping each release extremely limited, our cards will not only hold their value over time, but potentially rise substantially if the athlete performs. Most importantly, we are proud to make timeless collectibles of your favorite athlete.

Why Anna Leigh Waters?

The sport of pickleball is exploding worldwide and at only 16 years old, Anna Leigh Waters is quickly cementing her legacy as one of the greatest. We chose to create these timeless collectibles of Anna Leigh due to her unbelievable skill set on the court. It is difficult to find another athlete as dominant as Anna Leigh has been versus her opponents, throughout the entire sports world. With a 2023 record of nearly 150 wins to just 3 losses, the results speak for themselves.

The goal of an Olympic Gold Medal is very much a possibility in 2032, when pickleball may be added to the Summer Olympics! Anna Leigh will only be 24 years old and it’s exciting to think about how amazing her credentials will look by that time. She is already the owner of an unthinkable 18 Career Triple Crowns and continues to pave the way for all future athletes to enter the sport at the professional level!

The Future

NETPRO continues to be focused on bringing quality licensed cards of the brightest tennis stars to collectors. We were the first company to introduce match-worn material cards, and on-card autographed cards for the sport of tennis, and we wanted to become a part of pickleball history by doing the same. Fans of the sport had never had a chance to collect a match-worn material card, or on-card autograph of the greatest to play the sport, until now.

No one can predict what the future may hold, but one thing we have seen with our 2003 licensed trading cards, is that if an athlete performs – collectors will pay anything to acquire their cards. You could purchase Roger Federer’s 2003 Match-Worn Autographed Rookie Cards for $3,000 each around 15 years ago. Today, they have sold for over $100,000 each, with one selling as high as $186,000. You could purchase the Serena Williams 2003 Jersey Autographed Rookie Card for less than $1,000 each back when initially released, today the card has sold as high as $266,000.

While there’s no guarantee prices will rise 10-25X over the years, the future is incredibly bright for teenage superstar Anna Leigh Waters and we are thrilled to be a part of pickleball history by producing these cards.
